Corporate events and partnerships
Kenny’s practice explores tea in various modalities, ranging from introductory workshops and tastings to using tea as a medium to tap into one’s intuitive wisdom in order to foster growth and change.
In his course of work, Kenny has presented tea for various partners and clients such as FENDI, Straits Clan, OCBC, Starwood, Speciality & Fine Food Asia etc. These events featured custom tea pairing dinners designed around specific themes, tea tastings, tea+wine crossover, and more.
In 2019, he worked on an experiential tea programme for Offcuts Teahouse, an art installation by HF/DF (an interdisciplinary art collective) that was part of the Arts In Your Neighbourhood initiative by the National Arts Council. Through it, he realised one of his endeavours to take tea out of its conventional context while maintaining the integrity of its practice, in order to highlight the transience and ephemerality of the tea ceremony.
